DP World, the largest Port Operator in the World, has called in Lloyds British Training Services to commence a major programme of onsite safety training at its’ Jebil Ali Port in Dubai.
The programme of courses will be ongoing, with Lloyds Trainers most probably being retained for up to a year delivering specific courses.
Due to serious health and safety shortfalls, DP World decided that Lloyds British were the only organisation that had the experience and resources, to manage and facilitate such a diverse range of development requirements.
Steve Downing Group Safety and Training Director said " the demand for our services from outside the UK increases each year, to the point where we are opening more new branches overseas, than at any time in our history.
The commitment made by DP World to work with us, is a great accolade for Lloyds British but also testament to the quality of our service and people".
Lloyds British has just announced the opening of its new branch in Kuwait and will be commencing trading again shortly in Saudi Arabia and In Angola.
