Birmingham-based national lifting equipment and engineering services specialist Lloyds British Testing has been appointed the sole UK distributor for the European personal protection equipment [PPE] company Ekman Safety.

Both Lloyds and Ekman, which has its headquarters in Portugal, are market leaders in their respective fields. The strategic partnership between the two businesses in their mutual marketplace can only reap benefits.

Said Lloyds British Chief Executive Ian White: "The alliance will ensure that our customers have access to a vast choice of traditional ppe (personal protection equipment).
